A Family-Run Business

Aqua-Dry began in the 1980s with Tom going door to door with a rented carpet cleaning machine in an attempt to provide for his wife and newborn daughter. Over time, more and more work came from referrals and repeat customers. As his reputation increased, the business grew, with his wife Joni taking care of the admin side of things.

All of his kids have worked in the company at some point and now, his daughter Hannah (the newborn from the 1980s) is the office manager and ensures that this reputation is maintained today and his son Tim works between the van and the office, liaising directly with customers and across our marketing efforts. For this reason we are highly customer focused and strive to ensure that our team offers a friendly, helpful, and professional, hands-on service. It may sound corny, but we actually really do care about our customers’ satisfaction.

With the addition of wonderful staff like Tony and Dan, we work hard to ensure that we are providing a service that is second-to-none on every job. Our business has continued to grow thanks to repeat business and referrals from our satisfied customers.

Aqua-Dry has over 40 years’ experience providing professional carpet, upholstery and leather cleaning services for homes and businesses across Dublin. We also offer stain protector treatments to help improve resistance to everyday spills and soiling.

Over the years, we have developed extensive knowledge of carpet fibres, upholstery fabrics and stain treatment. We use this experience to assess each job carefully, explain the likely results and provide honest advice where staining, wear or existing damage may limit what cleaning can achieve.

Our office is based at Unit 12, Turvey Business Centre, Donabate, Co. Dublin, with convenient access from the M1. From here, we provide carpet and upholstery cleaning for homes and businesses across Dublin and the surrounding counties.

We no longer operate our former rug cleaning centre or offer a walk-in rug cleaning service. Some rugs may still be suitable for cleaning in your home. Please contact us with the rug’s measurements and fibre composition so we can advise.
