In a world of rapid changes and fleeting trends, it's a rare privilege to celebrate a business milestone that spans four decades. With much gratitude, we joyfully mark 40 years of our family business. We invite you to take a moment with us as we reflect, and express deep appreciation for the journey so far.
Aqua-Dry began in 1983 with Tom Doherty going door-to-door with a rented carpet cleaning machine.
With repeat customers and recommendations, the business grew and his wife Joni got involved. His first-born, Hannah was born in 1985 and over the years 6 more children followed.
Fast forward 40 years, and while all of the children have worked in the company at some point, now the customer-care side of things is run by his eldest daughter Hannah, younger son Tim, and wife Joni.
They ensure that every customer is dealt with the way we ourselves would like to be dealt with.
From humble beginnings, the business has grown slowly, but steadily over the years.
Today, we are pleased to say that we are recommended by the likes of Arnotts, Finline Furniture, and Frank McGowan and our commercial customers include the National Concert Hall, IMC Cinemas, the FAI and many other businesses in Dublin.
Aqua-Dry was built on repeat custom and customer referrals, so we always strive to ensure that our customer service is beyond reproach for both our domestic and commercial customers.

Along with Tom, our wonderful technicians Tony and Dan ensure that customers keep coming back to us with their diligent and detail-minded work and their polite, friendly, and helpful manner.
As Tony has been with us for over 21 years, he's been a customer favourite for a long time. However, Dan is definitely giving him a run for his money, since he joined in 2019. Now when we look through the reviews, it’s practically impossible to separate them!
